On December 20th the big kids performed in the school Winter Program. They got dolled up this year for the occasion.

On August 28th Gerhardt turned 7! We threw a real good shindig or pow wow whichever ya wanna call it. We had ourselves a Cowboys and Indians party.

I’m so proud of this guy. I really was worried about his going to Kindergarten last Fall. He still had trouble with some of his speach and identifying letters in the Alphabet. I wondered how he would do. Well, I’m not worried anymore. His teacher and his mama and daddy are very pleased with how well he’s doing this year!

A couple weeks ago this happened. He was sooo excited. Losing these first baby teeth always makes me a smidge sentimental. I remember when those first teeth first appeared!
Our “Losing a Tooth” policy has been updated. We don’t do the Tooth Fairy but do give the babies some money for the first lost tooth and only the first lost tooth otherwise….. We were only giving them a quarter because A QUARTER WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR THEIR MAMA right? But with inflation and because we are only giving moola the first time we have bumped up the allowance to an entire dollar.
