Of Hearth and Home – The Sundays Part I

For some it’s a bad “Case of the Mondays” they come down with. For this pastor’s wife with a bunch of kids, it’s a case of the Sundays I get. The Sundays start on Saturday. It used to be Saturdays were the time of the sighing, the dreading, the prepping, the praying “Lord please help me get through tomorrow morning!” Thankfully Sundays are getting better.

Anyone else feel like you’re going to the gym instead of sitting in a pew?! Seriously, THIS again! Maybe it’s just being 36 weeks pregs, but there’s a lot of sweating, heavy breathing and exhaustion involved. And that’s just when I try to stand up!



Survival of the Unfittest

I often say that Phil and I have been in “survival mode” for the past 7 years. Our family has grown quite quickly. We barely have time to adjust to the ones we have before another is on the way. Our routines, schedules and life always changing. The only thing we’ve gotten used to is…change and adjust….and survive.
