There are┬áso many reasons to be thankful that Phil and I got out of debt very early in our marriage. One reason that reaps rewards most often is our ability to go out together, bash around town enjoying good food, entertainment of course each other. I’m so grateful for a husband who makes this happen and also of course for the kind people who are able and willing to watch our babies for us while we do these funsie things together.

“Dates” do not need to be out on the town or even that fancy to be enjoyable. We also have many “dates” right in our own kitchen, grilling steaks and opening wine after the babies are down. The important thing to us is being able to spend some time together just the two of us.

That afternoon she helped me in the kitchen get all the pizza crusts made for the meal.
