Traveling South

July 27: No rest for the weary travelers, it’s on to the next adventure! This time a two week trek from Nebraska down to Alabama and back. Our first stop yesterday landed us in the southernmost tip of Illinois.

A First Trip Away

July 24: While Phil and I were bashing around France our first baby was being all grownup and on her first trip with our young people from church. She spent a week in Montana and had the best time. My head (and maybe my heart!) is still spinning that she’s even old enough to be doing this.

The Trip to France

July 10: In March Phil was approached with an opportunity to attend John Warwick Montgomery’s International Academy of Apologetics, Evangelism & Human Rights that’s held in July in Strasbourg. With tuition and airfare paid for it seemed like a gift too great to pass up.

Then in May things changed with Rosie and leaving her in the care of someone else was not going to work. So it was either cancel the trip or take Rose. After a lot of thought and checking with her doctors we decided to take Rose. We didn’t know how it would go but we wanted to try to make the best of it and enjoy this new kind of adventure. We also prayed a lot that she’d stay healthy.

8th Grade Graduation
