I back up a bit to May 26: Lily finishes the 8th grade! I’ve never been to a middle school graduation before but there’s a first for everything.
Lily had spent the week lamenting that she would have no recognition or distinctions on the big screen when she walked across like some of the other students would have. I told her that was just fine. Then I laughed out loud when glancing through the program I realized she had no reason to worry. I mean come on, she had no idea?!
Congratulations Lily! We’re so proud of you!
