You are such a wordsmith! Although my kids are now young adults these pictures are true, true, true. It seems like just yesterday I’d be heading off a squirmish in our pew while my husband looked beautifically about the assembled sheep. Clueless. The child I was most likely to “assist” out of church to sit in the time-out chair (telling my age here) in Dad’s office is now a do-good attorney who can stand toe to toe with the worst of them. This same angel is also remembered for the near torching of the sanctuary (children’s bulletin meets Advent wreath) as well as the infamous “tights adjustment” during the Christmas program. Be still and know that in less than 2 decades you will again be able to “get something” out of church.

I keep telling myself…”just 5…10…15 more years?”!!! I’ll sure miss the biceps I’ve built up in these years though! 🙂 Oh wait, are biceps supposed to “hang”?

What timing! This last Sunday I gained numerous new bruises…and felt pretty sorry for myself. But these times are short; the bruises (mostly) fade; and God manages to sneak me vital crmbs in the midst of all the wrestling (grunts and/or sound effects included). 🙂 Thanks, Aubri!
