Last week we had our first “real” snow. We’ve gotten some flurries here and there over the past couple months, but this time the snow stuck around long enough for the babies to enjoy it for way longer than I should have let them. But it was a warm 7 degrees outside and all moms know that some frost bite is good for you.

Due dates make me laugh too Ephraim. We have 3 of them, November 2nd, the 4th and the 8th. Our doctor is going with the 4th and since I’m only about 2 cm dilated and not having real contractions, just those silly fake ones…for fun, I’m not thinking baby will be here over the weekend.
We don’t usually go past our due date by more than a few days (doctors’ choice) so I shouldn’t complain. I know there are those of you out there who have ventured WAY beyond “due dates”. You have my sympathy. We will go back to the doctor on Monday to see if there has been any progress.

The big girls go back to school tomorrow! I’m sure I’m more excited about that than anyone. It’s always easier for me to make a countdown chain for them to refer to instead of answering the “how many more days until“….question 54 times an hour.
So I made one for this last week as we all waited.
