The big girls go back to school tomorrow! I’m sure I’m more excited about that than anyone. It’s always easier for me to make a countdown chain for them to refer to instead of answering the “how many more days until“….question 54 times an hour.
So I made one for this last week as we all waited.
Each link has a different activity for the day. Here’s what we did:
1. Bubbles and Big Wands using THIS wonderfully wonderful DIY bubble recipe.
2. Going To the Fair.
3. Make Peach Smoothies with the peaches from a neighbors peach tree.
4. Going To The Fair….again.
5. Birthday Party Playdough. We didn’t go with bright colors, I used this Pumpkin Pie Playdough recipe because it makes nice “dough” for the girls to pretend to bake with and I LOVE the way it smells.
6. Little House on the Prairie Laundry Day.
7. Foam Window Murals.
