Due dates make me laugh too Ephraim. We have 3 of them, November 2nd, the 4th and the 8th. Our doctor is going with the 4th and since I’m only about 2 cm dilated and not having real contractions, just those silly fake ones…for fun, I’m not thinking baby will be here over the weekend.
We don’t usually go past our due date by more than a few days (doctors’ choice) so I shouldn’t complain. I know there are those of you out there who have ventured WAY beyond “due dates”. You have my sympathy. We will go back to the doctor on Monday to see if there has been any progress.
And work.
Well, my minions are doing the work while I sit around telling them to work more.
Here’s what else we’ve been up to.
Something about small towns, you just never know when you’ll get a ride in a carriage pulled by a miniature horse.
We sat inside watching a party going on across the street where other little kiddies were getting pulled around, so I sent my babies out to look sad and eager until this kind gentleman finally felt bad enough to offer them a ride too.
Works every time!
And our new Fall favorite activity, cookouts at the lake. Hotdogs and S’mores!
Phil and I got away to celebrate our 6th anniversary. We went to the exotic location of Omaha which is so beautiful this time of year!
There has been lots of reading.
And being adorable in matching Pajamas.
