Lily has struggled with writing. I’m not worried, she is after all only 3. But I thought this would be a fun exercise for her. “Writing” in flour. During “Quiet Time” I’ve started giving her options for activities, reading, crafts or using the time for a lesson in letters or numbers.
The Graduate

Tuesday night, Lily graduated from morning preschool. I know, we’re proud. Now she will be able to attend afternoon preschool in the Fall!

My Mother’s Day

Wait a minute. That’s not ME in the kitchen making lunch!
That’s my sweet husband who told me he had all the meals taken care of for Mother’s Day! Yay! No cooking and frozen pizza for lunch!
And brats (as in sausage, not children) on the grill for supper!
The day was beautiful, so we decided to eat outside.
A picnic for the babies. Not my best idea, Gerhardt put his foot in ketchup twice, but easy clean up afterward so we all won in the end.
I provided dessert.
