This morning we headed over to West Point for their July 4th “Fun Run” (again, I don’t get it.). Phil wanted to run it with all the babies, pushing our new baby train. I opted for a lawn chair and the camera and waited at the finish (and starting) line.
Phil tried to sway the judges by showing a little leg.
Baby Train loaded and ready to run! Notice, we have room for baby 4 when she gets here!
Phil chats it up with some fellow runners before the whistle. Who knew the train would be such a chic magnet.
Phil crossing the finish line. 3 miles in 23 minutes 16 seconds, very good for pushing all that sugar (thougt the course was probably shorter than 3 miles). This guy blew past him, but really? One baby? [edit: The other runner only ran 1.5 miles. I had another lap to go for the 3 miles.]
After the run we spent a little time in the park.
Hope you’re all enjoying the day and the freedoms we’ve been blessed with in our country!
Love the Baby Train! Thanks for sharing all the fun pictures.
Yes, the baby train is awesome! Where do you get a contraption like that?
Hey! We actually bought it used off craigslist, but for details see:

It’s called the Runabout Quad stroller. It’s got some quirks but more perks we think. The seats recline so little baby4 will be able to ride some too. But what will we do when #5 gets here???! (No, that’s not an announcement!)
