Happy Camper – Verdon and Indian Cave State Park Part II

You guys Indian Cave State Park turned out to be such a treat and a true feast for the eyes. This place…in Fall. I can’t even. So beautiful. This was the weekend before Halloween so we had fun cruising around spying the Halloween decor placed here and there.

Seriously. The fun never stopped. But would you look at this place!

And this is why the park is called Indian Cave. This is the site of petroglyphs carved into rock believed to be made by a nomadic native tribe at some point in history. The rocks aren’t really caves but still fascinating to see. We poked around for a bit here before heading to a playground and gourmet PBJs for lunch.

We loved this park and hope to return!

    This scenery could be on a jigsaw puzzle – beautiful! But my favorite part was seeing my beautiful family! So glad y’all had a great time enjoying the Lord’s magnificent creation.
