The babies had 3 days out of school this week. The weather was cold and rainy but thankfully not snowy and icy this year. We spent a lot of the day Wednesday and some Thursday cleaning up the house, I told the kids it looked like a trash can in here. But we got it looking pretty spiffy for a few hours. Phil took some of them ice skating as a treat.
A lovely perk for a pastor’s family, a whole cart of Thanksgiving groceries gifted to us!
“Eat more Chicken and rice and soy sauce.”
Since the weather was so pleasant we were able to have a redo on the Thanksgiving meal we were invited to last year and couldn’t make. We are blessed!
We had a great time and a delicious meal. Josephine got all kinds of passed around and Martha didn’t cry. The big kids played and ate without too much required from Mom and Dad and little mess. A good Thanksgiving I’d say!
Love the pilgrims! And that baby is so precious- I bet she did get passed around! I’m glad y’all were able to go for the day!
