Today I took down and put away Fall around the house. You were fun Fall, but it’s time for the blessings of Advent and Christmas. I have to say I don’t think I’ve ever been so eager for Christmas. This year it might be hard for me to savor Advent as much as I like to with the anticipation of Christmas. I’m not sure what’s causing that but it’s real.
Here are some of this year’s Fall memories.
Closing her eyes so Mama can’t see her.
The Fall party at the Lindaus’.
Ephraim discovers the joys of riding in circles on the porch the way Gerhardt used to at our old parsonage. He has a little bit more room than Gerhardt did though.
I’ll say goodbye to this Season with some words from Lily. Alas, Mercy got a hold of it before it went to the publishers.
Fall is….
“Fall is…the warm cheesy taste of macincheese.”
Love all the fall remembrances! It looks like you have a creative author, penning all the things love about this time of the year! 🙂
Nicely stated Lily 🙂
Wow! Lily is a fantastic writer. She must take after her mama.
