Remember that post I made about baby gifts, new things and showers after so many babies? Well, would you believe that these three lovely sweet ladies got together to plan a baby shower for me! I’m so blessed to know them and was very touched that they would do this for us.
It was such a wonderful time with some of the ladies in our congregation.
I am so thankful to have been showered thus with new things for one more new baby. I told the ladies how much I greatly appreciated them getting together on a busy Sunday to celebrate another child with us. For an eighth baby is just as special as the first baby!
And I was reminded of that first baby and that first baby shower I ever received in Texas a trillion years ago.

April 2008. Remember that long ago?
Having been given this shower last weekend made me really begin to get excited about this new baby. We’ve been happily waiting for her the whole time but it’s so close and with all her new little things….I just get that good good feeling that comes with each new member of our family.
Oh, hooray for the ladies! And hooray for Baby #8! She’s coming into the world with a lot of people waiting to love on her.
