I think we’re ready to say that we have settled into our new house. Now we start to settle into our new town and later this week, into our new way of life once Phil begins his duties at the church.
Phil had a few days left of his vacation time so we’ve finally gotten a chance to enjoy some of the perks of summertime. There are so many great parks here in Omaha. Saturday we went to one of the many spraygrounds around. The babies had a blast on the splash pad.
Or I should say 4 of the babies had fun on the splash pad. These 2 not as much….or at all in Mercy’s case. But they did have fun on Mama’s blanket eating snacks in the shade.
Then we hit the plain old playground for a while. Fun.
Our area is graced with a lake just minutes from our house. Phil took me over and made me walk a couple miles on the trail that winds around it. Waaaa!
But I can say with Annie….I think I’m gonna like it here.
Oh, I’m so glad for you and your family! Lots of new adventures to be had.
What a nice way to spend your last days of summer. Park and splash pad look like a lot of fun.
