Living Seasonally:

This year Winter has come and gone and come and gone again. We’ve had fake Spring then life in the Tundra so many times I’ve lost track of what season it actually is. But maybe that’s better than the perpetual brutality of the long bitter Winters we’ve had in the past. I’m not sure what it is exactly about Fall that makes me so giddy. I just want to bathe in it, rub it all over, drink it up and plop down in the middle of it for a long long time….if that makes any sense.

Tomorrow school will finally begin again and our Summer break will come to an end. This year we’ll have 3 babies to get up, get dressed, get fed and get out the door. I panic a little.

June slipped by while we were in Texas, rain and cool days took most of our July and it just feels like this Summer was gone too fast.
