Christmas At The Parsonage

We’ve had little things planned for most of the 12 day of Christmas. On Tuesday the girls went to our former Monday Funday sitter’s house to play, something they miss doing, I miss it too! And Wednesday we went out for lunch then had a birthday party to attend. We’re keeping it simple but “festive” and we’re still opening gifts…
The Wisemen started their journey to Bethlehem and stopped to watch Lily make a birthday card.

Let me introduce “Bad Guy!”, he has become Clara’s favorite picture to color. She wanted to color him to send to her Opa for his birthday. I’m not sure if I should worry at this point, but she really loves “Bad Guy”. Uh, and notice the red fist.
Maybe I should be worried.

Our first snow of the season came today. We knew it was coming and the first fall is always breathtaking. You go about your morning wondering when it will start and the next time you glance out the window there it is, falling softly. You smile and tell the babies to look out the window. “Snow!” they yell, then jump around asking for their boots. You send them outside and they touch and taste it until there cold and want to come back in. It really is wonderful. Unfortunately, it just tends to overstay it’s welcome!
