We’ve had little things planned for most of the 12 day of Christmas. On Tuesday the girls went to our former Monday Funday sitter’s house to play, something they miss doing, I miss it too! And Wednesday we went out for lunch then had a birthday party to attend. We’re keeping it simple but “festive” and we’re still opening gifts…
The Wisemen started their journey to Bethlehem and stopped to watch Lily make a birthday card.
We’re also recklessly eating chocolate whenever we fancy. Even for breakfast, though I’m not sure Nutella counts as being reckless with chocolate does it?
And I’m thrilled to announce that our days of enduring these hideous plastic vertical blinds are OVER! The church approved our getting new honeycomb shades which Phil installed yesterday. I LOVE THEM!
After years of trying to keep these things from getting banged up and broken and failing many times, I felt naughty, but relished the job of tugging, pulling and cracking them off the rail. Good riddance!
We have been ending most of our days with candle light and Christmas hymns.
Last night the girls gave Phil a concert.
The Christmas story reinterpreted and sung by Lily
Beautiful singing! and how fun to hear the Christmas story in song- she does so well for a 3 year old! little sponges!
