A recipe for you in a minute, but first…

Look what happened on Tuesday, Esther turned 4 months old and rolled over!

The “Precious” pose.

Sorry Essie, I know that is not a flattering angle for anyone…

Okay, that recipe. Be it known, I’m not a big hot tea drinker, I take my tea iced and sweet, but I saw this recipe on the side of my box of Lipton tea bags and had to try it. It had me at “chocolate”.

Hot ‘N Spicy Chocolate Tea

1 cup fat free or 1% milk
1 cup water
2 Lipton® Cup Size Regular or Decaffeinated Tea Bags
1 Tbsp. sugar or to taste
1 tsp. chocolate syrup
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg

Bring milk and water just to a boil in 2-quart saucepan. Remove from heat and add Lipton Cup Size Tea Bags. Cover and brew 2 to 5 minutes. Remove Tea Bags; stir in remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.

I added more chocolate of course. Who stops at a tsp?  This has become my new afternoon sip of choice. Come over and have a cup with me!

Lily came upstairs wearing a new “skirt”…or a pant leg from some jeans I’d cut shorter. Project Runway here we come!

I wish I could come over for a sip! those children are precious, but was Gerhardt in a closet somewhere? I think Clara probably thinks God sent Essie just for her to play with. What wonderful friends they will be.You have such smart children: folding clothes, making skirts, rolling over……………
