Tuesday night, Lily graduated from morning preschool. I know, we’re proud. Now she will be able to attend afternoon preschool in the Fall!

We finally decided and got permission to put a garden in the yard at the parsonage! We’ve gardened around town in available plots which was nice to have but a pain to travel so far to plant, weed and pick. It will be great to have what we want right in our yard!

{Pretty}
Our Lily, 3 going on 13, such the little lady!
I always wonder at the things you don’t have to teach children. How to laugh, how to play. And just where does the desire to where high heels come from? Lily has probably seen me wear them 3 times in her life but I’m seeing that there is something in little girls that seems unavoidable, they want to be big girls! Princesses, Mamas, Ballerinas. I didn’t teach them that did I?

We have been reading about David in our Story Bible this month. Here is a conversation I had with Lily this week.
Me: “David wasn’t afraid of Goliath because Jesus was with him.”
Lily: “But we can’t see Jesus.”
Me: “No, not until we go to heaven.”
Lily: “Can we go to heaven now Mama?”
Me: “No, not until Jesus says we can. When we die we can go to heaven.”
Lily: “But we already died.”
Me: “Hm” (I’m thinking “that’s a little creepy”). “When did we die?”
Lily: “We died on the cross.”
Wow, God’s truth from the mouth of babes.
