Gingerbread Waffles just sounded good this morning. When it comes to waffles I don’t stray too far from Bisquick, maybe I’ll add blueberries, chocolate chips or banana, vanilla and sugar sometimes, but nothing crazy. I found a recipe for these that turned out to be more complicated and took way longer than I’d really felt up to. Other than the fact that I cooked them too long and Phil doesn’t like gingerbread they turned out… eh, okay. I think I’ll go back to Bisquick next time.
We got another Tee-Tee on the potty from Lily today. Here’s an interesting article on potty training which I’ve been reading a lot about recently. This one is unlike any that I’ve read so far.
My mom has started a tradition of giving her grandchildren a different ornament each year. Then when they move away from Mama and Daddy they will have their own collection. This year’s ornaments are now on the tree!
