December 23: Finally our Christmas tree is decorated…then it fell over so that was a fun first. But we managed to save the day and hung the mistletoe which officially makes it Christmas around here.

December 22: It’s another big day for Rose! The casts are gone and a new stage begins. Ponseti boots. She’ll wear these for 23 hours a day until at least March when we’ll go back for evaluation. After that she should only have to wear them while sleeping. They’re definitely more awkward than the casts were but at least now she can bend her knees and get some stretches in.
