I’ll take a break from our usual Person of Interest when it comes to hair and update you all on the big girls latest style! They have been wanting “short hair” for over a year now but I have never trusted my self or my magic pruners to provide a satisfactory short hair cut. Short = Buzz right?

Well, a couple weeks ago a dear lady and new friend at church, Carissa, who happens to be a professional stylist asked me how I cut the kids hair. I went into my long sob story.

The next week she asked if she could give the girls hair cuts!!! Why YES PLEASE YES! Was pretty much my response.

Easter Photo!

Weeelllllll, I FINALLY got this year’s Easter photos taken! Since Esther and Gerhardt were in Texas during Easter I waited until they returned to even try this. Also, we have our Martha with us this year for the photos. Someone we didn’t get last year since she was still dans la Tummy.

The weeks passed, and so did Easter but we had to have a family photo taken for our Church Picture Directory a couple weeks ago. I put the babies in their Easter clothes and knew I’d better kill these two birds with one stone.

I think it is really amazing that we have the same kind of tree in the yard at our new parsonage that we did in our former so I can continue with the same looking portraits! Crazy right?

So here are the pictures I got this year. Perfectly perfect.

The Day of Pentecost

“To you, the Comforter, we cry,
To you, the gift of God most high,
True fount of life, the fire of love,
The soul’s anointing from above.”

We observed Pentecost today. A simple lunch of; Roasted Chicken, Greek Salad and Rising Rolls. I shaped one of our rolls like a cute little dove but Phil and Lily said it looked like a fish. I guess a fish is appropriate too though right?

For supper we will have a couple over for Hamburgers, Sparkling Wine and Cherry Pie.
