Our Lily, 3 going on 13, such the little lady!
I always wonder at the things you don’t have to teach children. How to laugh, how to play. And just where does the desire to where high heels come from? Lily has probably seen me wear them 3 times in her life but I’m seeing that there is something in little girls that seems unavoidable, they want to be big girls! Princesses, Mamas, Ballerinas. I didn’t teach them that did I?

During quiet time Lily and I sat out on our front porch enjoying the beautiful day, the high heels and pictures. She wanted to take some pictures for herself so I handed over the camera and let my little lady click away. I had a really good time looking back through them so I thought I’d share. Don’t worry, I deleted the 300 photos of our pantry door.

I saw your link at Like Mother… The photo of you and your daughter was so sweet I had to stop at your blog. Great pics! 🙂
Lily is precious!
Oooh – I used to wear those plastic heels like Lily is wearing and I remember feeling so fancy! Adorable.
Thank you ladies! Misty – I wore plastic heels like this too and that’s exactly the right word for that feeling they gave, “fancy”! ha ha ha!
I love the Lily photography! and so nice to see a “like Mother like daughter” section of you and Lily!
