Can you believe it’s already February? With my new found love for Valentine’s Day, I’ve actually been looking forward to this month for a while. So I thought I’d share a couple ways we’re counting down the days to St. Valentine’s Day.
I really liked this Valentine Countdown Chain I saw a few weeks ago. I made ours yesterday. The links are shaped like hearts and each one has a Bible verse about love.
“Love is patient, love is kind, Happy Feast of Saint Valentine”
Lily was so excited to take the first heart off this morning. Clara is having a hard time understanding why we can’t take some more off today.
And here is a picture of St. Valentine so you know what he looked like. Lily drew him while I made our countdown chain. This is officially the first “person” she’s ever drawn. Very impressive I thought!
Another idea I had this year is to give my special someone a love note each day up to Valentine’s Day, that would 14 notes. Excessive? Phil probably thinks so.
Lily really liked Daddy’s love note and treat, so Mama made her one too.
For some of the crafts and treats I made last year go here and here.
And here for some baby Lily cuteness.
Aubri – You are such a clever, young lady. I adore you!
I love this new way you have of celebrating Valentine’s Day! 🙂
Your home seems like such a fun place to be!!! You add new meaning and creativity to being the Proverbs 31 woman. I’m so proud of you 🙂
