St. Martin’s day again! This year I had some help making one of my favoritest cookies in the world. We only eat these for St. Martin’s day so I get pretty excited about them. Also, I can’t believe how big my big kids are getting!

After supper the babies went out for the annual Lantern Walk. The boys take turns each year being St. Martin for our walk. Ephraim got the honor this time.

I did hurry to put out the “Beggar Bags” I make up for them which is a good thing since they were back home so quickly!

This year I also used the day to gift some needed Winter items. The big girls have been asking for a couple years now for new robes and Gerhardt is growing out of his warmer jammies. I was happy to find all of these at The Children’s Place site which was and still is having a great sale. I didn’t want to make anyone else sad to not get anything so I found some throw blankets at Walmart for three kiddos, some slippers for Martha and socks for Jigi.

You can read more about our St. Martin’s day tradition on last year’s post.

It’s fun to see them all out with their lanterns; they are all getting so big!
