On the drive into Corpus you can’t miss the USS Lexington sitting in port. Of course we had to make some time to visit this ship which is now a museum.
There’s a ton to see, read and do on board this ship. Even the 3D film was fun to watch. Even though it was hotter than Hades, Phil and the kids had a great time exploring. I had a great time keeping Jigi from running off, going overboard, climbing everything in sight and throwing fits and we only temporarily misplaced 3 kids the whole time! After a few hours I was glad to disembark but the next time you’re in Corpus you really should board the USS Lexington.
That evening we headed to the beach once again.
