For the first day of Fall we hit our favorite local pumpkin patch. I do believe we chose the HOTTEST day of the year to do this whole Fall thing.
It was too hot to stay long but we enjoyed that there were actually pumpkins left to pick this year. We finally went early enough to get something other than gourds. And little Martha waddled all over the place with the kids. We learned how easy it is to get carried away picking and picking, each pumpkin better than the last. We had to cut ourselves off. But we sure have a pretty porch now!
