Miss Martha is two years old! She shared her birthday with the Resurrection this year, Easter Sunday. We celebrated another year of her life on Holy Saturday. I chose a Little Lamb theme which seemed to fit the Holy Day, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the World and our baby girl being Jesus Little Lamb.
Martha Martha, you are troubled about many things. What a year for our girl. She’s seemed to have spent all of it either sleeping in her crib, sitting in her chair at the table or safe in the pack on Mama or Daddy’s back. There’s been a lot of crying and a lot of being sick this year. A lot of changes too. Moving into a new house and getting a new baby sister.
But over the last few months she’s changed so much. More and more she’s been getting around the house, exploring and playing. More and more we hear laughing and chattering instead of crying. It makes this Mama so happy to see her beginning to enjoy the world and the people around her.
We love you Little Lamb and look forward to another year full of more changes and more smiles!
How does God pack so much precious into such a small bundle?? Such a blessing!
She is tooo precious! I love those chubby little arms! And such a sweet smile! 🙂
Happy 2nd birthday Martha!
