Yesterday Phil picked the babies up from school and off we went to the pumpkin patch. We were late in getting here again this year so all there were to find were gourds and rotting pumpkins but, as last year, we still had a great time.
We really enjoy this patch. It isn’t yet commercialized. No bells and whistles, just produce in someone’s very big backyard. It’s free (gourds are too!) and right around the corner from us, perfect for our family.
Working on this post I went back in time and looked at previous times we visited a pumpkin patch. Oh my! Sniffle sniffle!
How cute to see almost all of those pumpkins lined up together… Oh, and the real pumpkins, too.
I am amazed at how quickly the pumpkin patch days come around each year! Looks like everybody enjoyed the outing, and the 8 pumpkins lined up are so cute!
That corn is as high as an elephant’s eye! And it looks like it’s climbin’ clear up to the sky. Oh, what a beautiful memory. Y’all really racked up on those freebies!
