A Bundle of Myrrh

My mom handed some of her Christmas decorations down to me. It’s wonderful to be able to now have some of the things that gave me such joy to look at as a child. The lovely girl on the the left is a music box. She spins around to Jingle Bells. I hope my babies will enjoy them as much as I did.

I decided to decorate with some of the natural beauty found in our own yard this year. Our huge Blue Spruce donated some of his branches to add touches of green to our home this winter. Hobby Lobby “donated” the berries.

Using my china cabinet I can finally display some of my more delicate treasures and keep them safe from the “ne’er do wells” around here!

My mom got these when we lived in Germany. Aren’t they beautiful?

I got this wreath at Wal-Mart! It was just the kind of wreath I was looking for.

And an Advent wreath…ish for the kitchen table.
