Easter Photo Shoot

Our traditional Easter photo shoot 2015. No new baby in the pictures this year but still the hardest shoot to get through! Moods and tudes! We got off to a rocky start.

I was about to give up but my neighbor coaxed Ephraim over to our tree with the promise of M&Ms. Still I had to get in the picture to even hope to have him a part of any shots.

Oh well, here’s what we managed to get this year. Too many good photos for one post, so à la Aubri I made a slide show. Enjoy!

You have an adorable family, moods and all! I love the white dresses.

Your family always has the best soundtrack

    Thank you ladies!

Anna, I like the babies in white too, it’s become tradition now, plus I like to do it to drive Katy crazy. Babies in white make her very uneasy! 🙂

Aubri you gotta teach me how to do the slideshow thing. That is really cute and I love the song.

Maybe you edit your photos this way intentionally, but it looks like you either just buy every white dress new and the kids wear them once, or you use lots of liquid blueing. Or maybe your water isn’t as hard as ours 🙂 All our white clothes have a dull yellow-ish tint (which is apparently what folks in South America consider true white, sensibly). The cool blue-white we like in America is a detergent and water-softener company conspiracy!

There is soooo much cuteness in that picture!!!!

Rebekah, go to https://slide.ly/ that site makes making slide shows so easy! Then you can embed into your blog easily as well.

Katy, we do get new dresses each year, though some are handed down. I have them get as much use out of them as I can, we wear the white for Baptism of new baby, Trinity Sunday and All Saints Day. But we only wear them to church, then straight home and get out of them right away. I’ve only had to wash some of them on occasion when something really bad happens. Then that calls for ironing and that’s just going too far.

Kristi, I have to agree. 🙂
