A Bundle of Myrrh

Dear Santa

2014-Santa_Letters

Every year our school has the kids write letters to Santa. I still don’t understand why the school makes Santa such a priority but here we are.

I do enjoy reading what my babies write. It gives me and Phil and good laugh. Lily so practical, Gerhardt all boy (who doesn’t have even one motorcycle btw) and then Clara, overflowing, on and on, thoughtful and taking advantage of the opportunity to ask for everything her heart desires. I can’t wait for my glass turkey. (Hers was the longest in the entire school I’ll add.)

And look we got some SNOW yesterday! Unfortunately it’s been too warm for it to stick around for Christmas, so yet another bummer brown one for us. But it was fun while it lasted.

Blessings to you all as you prepare for Christmas or are already enjoying every bit of it. We’re all feeling better and excited about the big Christmas Eve Program tonight at church. Lily plays Mary this year!

Glad to hear y’all are all on the mend up there.
I always enjoy reading those Santa letters, they are so funny! I hope you enjoy your glass turkey, I wonder where that came from? Snow much fun for the littles to get out into and shovel! We in Texas will have one of those “bummer brown Christmases” too- but I am not complaining! 🙂

    p,s,
I can’t wait to see pictures of the Christmas Eve program- and Mary Lily!

I hope, for your sake, Santa didn’t bring all of those toys that make noise. I hate noisy toys.

Ha Jody! The dad around here is very good at sneaking batteries out of the noisy toisies! Poor babies, that’s why they endlessly ask for everything and anything that can talk and walk…hope against hope. Clara was concerned that I didn’t get my glass turkey though, sweet girl. 🙂
