A Bundle of Myrrh

Clara turned 5 while we were at Grandma and Grandpa’s. We asked her what she wanted for her birthday, she said, balloons and ribs. Easy enough!

Also, quite by happy accident, the perfect party “theme” emerged….Paperdolls, Pinwheels and Papillons (that’s French for Butterfly. Where’s Fancy Nancy when you need her?!)

I love these McCalls paper dolls Phil’s mom gave to the girls. She made them magnetic so we don’t have to worry with tiny tabs keeping everyone’s clothes on.

We got an Ice Cream cake which was decorated with Butterfly rings after we ordered it. We had no idea they would do that but it was perfect! It even matched the plates and hats we grabbed at the dollar store.

This party was brought to you by the Letter P so we’ll add Presents to the theme.

And the ribs of course. It wouldn’t be a Clara party with out those!
