It was probably inevitable living in Rural Nebraska that our little man would start LOVING tractors.
Thanks to Phil’s mom who sent a table covering and some cute tractor decorations I was able to give him a “Green Tractor” Party.
We did Ice cream…no cake. I’m getting pretty tired of cake by now and Gerhardt never has really cared for it anyway so we all won.
Gerhardt’s not a big sweets eater (I’m still trying to figure out if he’s mine!) he likes the salty snacks, so I knew some “Hay” would be the perfect treat for today.
And some friends of ours made this cute little big box tractor for him!
“Thank you for the John Deere Shirts and bib Grandma!”
“Green” tractor toys are really expensive so we had to go Red, sorry John Deerians.
Gerhardt’s been sleeping with this tractor since he got it….so much love!
“And thank you to Grandmere for the Coon Skin hat!” We’ve all had turns wearing this!
Well that is just a really cute party theme for a true cornhusker! And that little frontiersman is the cutest I have ever seen! 🙂
My mom buys up metal construction/farm toys at garage sales and paints them. Actually, I wish I could give you some of our “green” ones….
I’m having a gnome-themed party for me soon-to-be 2-year-old, thanks to you! So cute!
My mom makes those exact bibs for my kiddos! Aren’t they great?
Grandmere, he’s also probably the fattest!!
Katy, I’m sending you a link….
Heidi, wonderful durable bibs and we go through ’em feeding Porky the Pig at our house!
