Day 4 was all about relaxing before the trek home and back to the daily grind. We were ready though. We missed those little hooligans of ours.
Day 5, one more drive through the Badlands. This time we decided to see more.
I have to say if you can’t make to the Grand Canyon, this is just as good.
Maybe not on the same scale of Ginormous, but just as beautiful AND much more “normal people” friendly. Unless you plan to backpack a mile down into the GC or take a mule ride down there and spend a week eating cactus, the Badlands are for you. If we’d had more time we’d have loved to take a hike around some of these rocks.
