We’ve had a wonderful case of the Summer Busies at the Parsonage this month and with school about to start, it’s only getting busier! So I thought I’d better put down some of our Summer fun, before it’s Fall…
We went fishing a couple times which is finally getting to be fun for the babies. They no longer cower and cling to Phil in the boat and we were surprised that this year Gerhardt actually got IN the boat!

Yesterday was my birthday.
The Littles gave me some wonderful gifts, a deflated inner tube hat and a curling ribbon hair decoration. And then covered me with “cards”.
Since this week has been pretty busy for us, I took Tuesday “off” and went to the city for some “me time” pretending it was my birthday. But I ended up doing a lot of grocery shopping too so I was really just tired and still “working”….Oh well, anytime I can get out of the house without 3 suitcases of baby stuff and 5 mouths talking or wanting to eat I’m good!
Thursday I had much of the day to myself since my neighbor kindly let the babies come to her house for a while. I got some home improvement projects done, or started at least. There were chocolate cupcakes (another gift from my neighbor) and a delicious glass of wine to end the day, était super!

Love Story: Part I and Part II.
Well, this part of the story may not be that interesting, sorry. It’s just the details that I remember so I suppose they must be told, but really might not be that “edge of your seat”.
Now that I’d decided to marry Phil I just had to figure out how to get him to decide to marry me! I told my girlfriends about my revelation. I’m sure there was a lot of giggling and scheming at that point. And I figured I’d better let our “Inside Girl” Brianne and her husband know. They might have to be key players in all this “scheming”!
