We’ve had a wonderful case of the Summer Busies at the Parsonage this month and with school about to start, it’s only getting busier! So I thought I’d better put down some of our Summer fun, before it’s Fall…
We went fishing a couple times which is finally getting to be fun for the babies. They no longer cower and cling to Phil in the boat and we were surprised that this year Gerhardt actually got IN the boat!
They’re also less likely now to run screaming from the creatures that get pulled out of the water.
I was so disappointed that there wasn’t enough room in the boat for the rest of us….so while the big kids were having their fun, the Littles and I were forced to take it easy on the shore, swinging, reading, walking around and sitting in the shade, darn it.
Oh yes I did stuff two babies into that stroller!
Essie got in on the dock fishing. She’s so sweet to hold that container of worms for her Daddy!
I believe Ephraim’s face is as broad as it is long.

Gerhardt seems quite concerned for the fish.
Clara and Lily seem to want nothing to do with the fish.
Phil loves the water, doesn’t he?
BUT… where is the beautiful mama who took all of the pictures???? I know, I know, your beauty is too much to fit into one photo.
Yes Kristi, my beauty must be contained BEHIND the camera. I don’t want to go making everyone else look bad! 🙂
