The Homeschool Show
Friday, June 16th, 2017
I like what David Pritchard said in his book, Going Public, “Yes! We definitely homeschool our children…and starting at age five, we also send them to public school to get more information.”
Yes, we definitely “homeschool.”
Last Day of PreSchool
Wednesday, May 24th, 2017
May 12th was the last day of Preschool for these girls. Phil would be taking them to Texas for a week with him so we decided to go ahead and cut short the final month. These girls loved going everyday to see their teacher and do some school work. It was a great year especially for Esther to be able to prepare for the schedule and work of Kindergarten. I think she’ll do a wonderful job next year.
It was good for Mercy too to be able to have something to occupy her each day. She’s a busy girl and loves to do school work like the big girls so I knew she’d enjoy that.
I’m so proud of both of them!
The Things They Say
Wednesday, December 28th, 2016
Sometimes I hear my babies beginning to think about deeper truths and I love it when they ask questions.
Clara: If Jesus was born as a baby then how did He make the world?
Clara: Why didn’t Jesus get married?
I answer as best I can then hand these over to Pastor Daddy.
But some questions neither one of us can answer…
Esther: Are Jewish people real?
Mama: Yeeesss.
Esther: Do they live in the dessert or underground?
Mama: 😀 !
