I can hardly believe Thanksgiving is NEXT WEEK! I decided I’d better start our Thanksgiving fun or it will come and go without the wonder of Oreo, Reese’s, Whopper Turkey treats and that would be such a shame!

First Day of School

My big girls started school on the 16th. For their first day I made them each a Schultute to celebrate the special occasion. Traditionally in Germany they are for a child’s first day of the first grade, but I think I’ll start doing this each year just because it’s fun.

At The Lake

After a weekend at the Fair we had to keep enjoying our beautiful and cool weather so we all headed to the lake for one more family fishing trip before school started. Clara has never attempted to get in the boat but she did this time and then caught her first fish! Phil was so proud.
