Gingerbread Cookies for Saint Nicholas Day! There are actually very nice St. Nicholas cookie cutters here that I’d like to get for next year. This year I had to resort to my vintage (thanks Mom!) Christmas tree cookie cutter.
I’ve never made gingerbread cookies, and I have to say they were delicious! I used this recipe.

Tonight some of our choir members and youth went a-wassailing. Afterward we drove around town looking at some Christmas decorations and lights. We were invited inside these members’ home for more Christmas decor fun!

Santa (who knew he was so limber!) came to town today. I hadn’t planned on taking the babies, but was enticed by the advertised free lunch and the desire to get out of the house. I also think we would have been missed in our small community so we decided to go.

The girls liked the Christmas tree toast I made the other day so I thought I’d try stocking toast for breakfast today. I’m all about pulling all the punches I can to make Lily eat food these days.
