Gingerbread Cookies for Saint Nicholas Day! There are actually very nice St. Nicholas cookie cutters here that I’d like to get for next year. This year I had to resort to my vintage (thanks Mom!) Christmas tree cookie cutter.

We did some snuggling on the couch and read books during an hour long power outage. It was 6 degrees this morning so we were very thankful to get that back!
Phil and I left all the babies with Monday Funday sitters and went to the big city. We ate lunch and I got my Peppermint Mocha fix! I’ll never know why Starbucks doesn’t just serve these all year round already.
