Holy Cross Day

Friday, September 24th, 2021

September 14: My sweet little helper.😍 Today we’re preparing for Holy Cross Day, commemorated Sept. 14.

“Far be it from me that I should glory except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.”

For years I’ve made this cross shaped monkey bread for the commemoration of Holy Cross day, it’s always a hit. This is also the day that reminds me that we’re just about to enter into my favorite season of the Church Year, so many holy days and seasons of the church are just around the corner. Annnd we’re on the brink of Fall.🍁 Is there anything better than Fall? 🍁🍂

Easter Photos

Thursday, May 27th, 2021

May 22: Being Pentecost Eve I thought maybe it was time for our traditional Easter photos. I just didn’t want to let an Easter go by without a photo by the spruce, we’ve been doing these since Lily was a baby! Easter Sunday was such a crazy day, it’s been harder to get family pictures this year for some reason. So I crammed the kids back into their Easter outfits quick today and made them smile.

May the hope, peace and joy of the Resurrection comfort you all!
