Ah, glorious Spring is on the way and finally our days have taken a turn for the warmer. Yesterday I opened all the windows to let the fresh warm air inside (and thankfully the cows were not “nosed” one bit). What a wonderful feeling.

Today is Shrove Tuesday, Fat Tuesday, Mardis Gras or Pancake Tuesday. Tradition being “get rid of all the fat, butter and eggs in the house because Lent starts tomorrow”. What batter way to do that than by making pancakes?
While we are not getting rid of our fat today, we did decide to eat some fatty crepes (they sounded better than pancakes which I make a LOT of). I’ve learned I’m not very good at making these and should just stick to pancakes, but they were tasty at least.

Gerhardt is beginning to get up on his knees and rock. He still only manages to go backwards and gets himself into some sticky situations.
He just can’t figure out why he keeps ending up under the coffee table.
