Oh what fun it is to celebrate “Christmas in Germany!” Sunday afternoon the babies danced at the German Society in the Christmas festival. Once again I was so proud of them. They learned several new dances in a pretty short time.

Culinary Tour – Historic Steakhouses of Omaha

Thursday night Phil and I went on a fun date. He booked us a tour of four historic steakhouses here in Omaha through a company owned by one of our church members called Omaha Culinary Tours. We tasted a sample from the menu at each place and heard some of the history of the restaurant from each of the owners. All of these steakhouses have been around since the 1920s and 40s.

Phil loves a good ‘Fun Run!’ Since we’ve moved last Summer he hasn’t been able to get one in, until a couple weekends ago now. We all got up while it was still dark to go cheer him to the finish line.
A Fieldtrip

Clara’s 2nd grade class went to Schramm Park. Phil heard they would be touring the fish hatchery there and was all signed up to chaperone.
