December 30: A first for us. We took a trip during the kids’ Christmas Break from school. We headed to New Haven MO. Our adventures began with a lunch stop in Kansas City at our new favorite BBQ spot in the world. We even allowed the kids to eat! @Fiorella’s Jack Stack Barbecue.

Oct 4: During our camping trip in Sioux City we had some fun outings. One of the reasons we decided to get a camper wasn’t just to enjoy the outdoors together but also for the opportunity it provides for us to travel. Food and lodging for a family our size gets expensive. A camper helps us take care of both of those a bit easier.
Iowa has some great Nature Centers. We stopped by the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center a couple times while we were here.

And now for the final installment of the Saga that was Summer Vacation! Day 6. We originally had planned one of our outings this day but were glad we had shuffled it to another. This mama had a lot of packing up and cleaning to do in the condo before we took off back to Nebraska. So we laid low but did get in one more gander around Vail and most importantly one more of those AWESOME public bus rides!
