The Ninth Day of Christmas

With only 4 more days of Christmas left it’s easy to start feeling a little blue. I’m ready to get our house back in order but I’m still enjoying the festive atmosphere, our Christmas tree and the gifts we’re opening each morning.
This morning we had a special breakfast since this is the last day Lily won’t have to go off to school right away. We had Christmas tree and Gingerbread Man toast with Nutella and Strawberry preserves, Ham and Egg Cups and Cranberry Chocolate Chip Muffins.
New Year’s Eve Bash

After nap time on Saturday we threw a crazy New Year’s Eve party! I hadn’t planned to do this since it has never occurred to me to do anything for New Years with littles. Then I heard on a local radio station that a museum would be holding a Noon Year’s Eve Party for children. What fun I thought! Why hadn’t I thought of that. I rarely make it to Midnight myself on New Year’s, my babies didn’t have to in order celebrate either. So I quickly threw something together.
On the menu; Cranberry Apple Juice Cocktails, sugar cookies and puppy chow.
