At The Parsonage – Our Valentine’s Day Fun

February 19th, 2012 by Aubri

Here are some pics from our Valentine’s Day. Clara helped me make these cute cookie sandwiches, a mix that came with a very nifty cookie cutter.

A rare picture with Mama, I must have been feeling all lovey.

I surprised the girls with a gift basket. It was mostly filled with things my mom was so thoughtful to bring for them, cute shirts and barrettes, stickers, a belt and wash cloths. The mason jars were gifts we made for Lily’s teachers.

Our wild party!

I really like Emily’s idea for celebrating Valentine’s Day. I think we may do something like this in a few years.

“Classifieds: Little romantic seeking someone who appreciates trains, ice cream, an afternoon on the swings and relaxing to a good movie. Let’s make a play date!”

Aunty Leah sent a wonderful book about St. Valentine, it came just in time! Here is a list of some of the books we enjoy reading during February:

The Story of Valentine’s Day, The Very Special Valentine, Who Do You Love?, Guess How Much I Love You, Count The Ways Little Brown Bear and The Story of St. Valentine

Do you have any “love stories” you enjoy reading during February?

And we had to have heart pizzas for supper.

Heart quesadillas – that’s a good idea. I think the kids had a great time, as did you, their wonderfully loving mom.

Yes Kristi, I did, I have become quite the sucker for Valentine’s Day!

Marie, thank you! Gerhardt certainly reminds me of his uncle Jimmy James!
