On the Eight day of Christmas we lazed around the house recovering from our New Year’s Eve bashing.
To further decorate our Christmas tree the babies colored some Names of Jesus ornaments. I had the girls read them to me and we looked them up in the Bible so we would know where each came from.

The Seventh day of Christmas was New Year’s Eve. We drove up to our former stomping grounds to visit and check in with some of the people we miss. We spent the afternoon with our “Nebraska Grandparents.”
For the last 7 years we’ve been invited to our friends (Esther’s “Spotters” or “Parents”) house for New Year’s Eve revelry. Even though we’re a bit farther away, we didn’t want to miss it this year. So after naps, we headed to their home and got our New Year’s Eve party on.
Sadly I don’t think I got any pictures of our time there. We’ll use our memories and imagination. But I’m sure it looked something like this:

On the Sixth day of Christmas Lily’s BFF came to our house to spend the afternoon. “J” is in her class at school and also a member of our church.

Dark Chocolate (and Hazelnut) Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast. I went a little overboard with the Nutella (if there is such a thing) which I used instead of hazelnuts.
